Cold and fever after eating ice cream

This is a poem I wrote last night about my bad health. My parents warned me that eating ice cream may invite cold and fever, but I was too adamant. Now I regret 🙁

My body is a battleground,

When immunity is unsound.

Agents of fever and cold,

Resounded with pride and paroled.

Paining throat and running nose,

Day and night failing to doze.

I close my eyes with regret and deem,

— “I shouldn’t have eaten the ice cream!”
