Oh my son — An introvert Mother's advice | Poem
‘Oh, my son’ is a poem about two pessimists/introverts — My mother and me.
Oh my son, my little lambOut there is a cruel world. With wolves in sheep’s clothes,Waiting for a golden chance.
Oh my son, my little childDon’t walk towards the darkLook at what is behind the treesInstead of pondering over the stars.
Oh my son, my little travellerStop wandering around unknown lands.Heaven seems far away in the skies,Until you realize my advice.
Oh my son, my true loveBe a child rather than a manFind joy in the tiny fortunes you have,Mom loves you for what you are.
