Lost wife — Short poem about a man who lost his wife

lost wife poem

Where there is life there is death. Everyone has to depart from this world one day. What makes life painful is facing the demise of our loved ones. Lost wife is a short poem about a middle-aged man who lost his beautiful wife forever. This man is not only heartbroken but also remorseful for having silly fights with his wife in the past. He also recollects all the joyful memories that he had with his wife. The moon stands in the background as a mute witness of this touching scene.

Lifeless lies my beautiful wife,
Facing the skies with closed eyes.
Mourn my heart in her demise,
Torn apart life moves sidewise.

Regret the fights we had whole life,
Now I feel alone in the moonlight.
Eyes wide open and weep all night,
Can't sleep without a kiss Goodnight.
