A tryst with my bed | A short poem

tryst with my bed poem, lazy poem

My tryst with my bed lasts eternally
That is time-tested by foes externally.
First came the jealous Sun and threw burning rays
Yet they couldn’t pierce the morning haze.
So the sun conjured others to rise
To break this tryst in many ways.
The Sun beckoned the marching ants
And they decided to take a chance.
They gracefully danced along the window
Yet I wasn’t motivated to lift my head from my pillow.
Songbird arrived to break this bond
And began singing like a mellifluous blonde.
It tried its best to wake me up
But the warm hug of my bed was beyond.
Foes tried their best and conceded,
Every morning this repeated.
