A Flower at Your Temple Door | A poem about Goddess Lakshmi

I am a fallen flower, stomped by many feet,
Crushed beneath the weight of my past deeds.
Thus, I lost my beautiful colors,
Thus, I lost my sweet fragrance.

The winds of fate carried me away,
And I fell at your lotus feet.
Now, the weight of my past is gone,
Now, my life is a golden dawn.

No longer I am a flower lost in despair,
Your love has filled me with hope and care.
Blessed by your touch, I fall no more,
After death, I shall bloom at your temple door.
