Earth's Orphan

 Everyone yearned to be Earth's favored child

She embraced some and devoured them

Deep inside they sleep peacefully.

Without the burden of life!

Stars could not fool them anymore

Sun couldnt blind them anymore

The chosen ones bathed in soil

They shed their weight and merged in her

She left me on surface with the burden of life

I am greedy, I am thirsty

I drink the tears of broken dreams

And long for her warm embrace.

To leave behind the burden of life

And earn my eternal prize.
